The Prompt

Using WordPress MCP, find potential broken internal links on my site:
1. Get my 50 most recent published posts using wordpress-mcp-get-posts (per_page=50)
2. For each post, scan the post_content for href= links that point to my own domain
3. For any internal links found, check if the linked post/page still exists and is published by searching for it with wordpress-mcp-search-content
4. List all links where the destination appears to be missing, deleted, or changed
5. Group results by post so I know exactly where to go to fix each one

Do NOT edit any posts. Find and report only.

How to Use It

  1. Connect Claude to your WordPress site via MCP (setup guide here)
  2. Copy the prompt above
  3. Paste it into Claude and press Enter
